Foursquare Launches Numbered Ratings System

Foursquare on Monday unveiled a new numbers-based ratings system for locations within the mobile app. When users look for locations to visit using the "Explore" feature, places are ranked on a 10-point scale, taking into account signals like tips, loyalty and popularity.
